We are licensed with the Ministry of primary industries.
We can provide you with a full service for home kill from paddock to freezer.
We offer you a friendly and professional service

 

Slaughtering: of any animal from pigs, sheep, deer, alpaca and of cause cattle.

Butchering: of all and any kind of meat and our butchers are fully qualified

Small goods: of any kind.

 

OUR PROCESS

Your animal will be slaughted then hung in chiller for as many days as it requires, our fully qualified butchers will then brake down your animal and butcher it to your requirements

They are experienced in all butcher work.

PROCESS FOR BEEF

After killing, and it has been hung for ageing, our butchers will break it down into

The cuts you require, it will then be free flowed frozen before being packed to your family requirements.

We knife cut all the prime steaks while it is still fresh then free flow them before they are packed.
We have found that by doing it this way you get the best out of your prime steak.

We free flow all the meat as we found this is so much cleaner and easier, it doesn’t damage the meat but makes it convenient, so your packs are not a block of meat stuck together.

We also offer a huge range of small goods you can have made with your beef trim or with any other cuts you may wish to use. Our Beef processing sheets make it easy for you to fill out to your requirements and if you need any help we are always available to answer any questions you may have.

PROCESS FOR SHEEP AND PIGS

Sheep and pigs are also broken down into the cuts you require and then free flowed frozen before being packed to your family requirements. Small goods are made on  request to your requirement’s

This also applies for venison.

If you have an animal you have killed yourself, either out hunting, or on your own property, you can bring it into us for processing.   If you have butchered it yourself but would like special cuts or small goods we can help you with that as well.

You will find that all our processing sheets are set out to make it easy for you to follow.

All your animals and meat are clearly marked and labelled with your name and date, from the time we receive them, or from when our slaughter man comes to you.

 

HUNTERS

We do all game meat and have a large client base of hunters who use our services.

A lot of our customers that are keen hunters rave over all of our small goods and salamis.

 

SMALL GOODS

Small goods are made with only your meat so, meaning that we will only mix your batch by itself. So you can rest assured that the sausages etc you get back are only made with the meat you have brought in to us, or from the animal that belongs to you.

Our small goods are a huge success and we are well known for the top quality we produce.

GOURMET CUTS

As our butchers are experienced and qualified we also offer a full range of gourmet cuts these can be found on our processing sheets.

 

PACKAGING

We pack all your meat to your requirements that you fill in on your processing sheet.  We use marked butcher bags or clear tough bags to pack your meat into. Each cut will be labelled so you know what is in your freezer.  We then pack all your bags into banana box’s that are labelled with your name, if you have more than one animal they will be packed separately and labelled 1 to how ever many you may have.

We also offer a bulk packing option if you prefer.

 

PICK UP

You will be notified when your meat is ready and can organize a time for pick up. We have eftpos available for payment or offer a direct credit option before pick up.
